Why I became a Beachbody Coach

1. It's an outlet.

Being a coach has really changed my life.  Not because I'm super rich now and I have a yacht, but because it gives me an outlet.  I am a stay-at-home mom and I love being with my kids, but I really needed something else in my life.

2. Become inspirational.

When I started looking into it, I watched YouTube videos of top coaches and they were all so inspirational.  When I met my own coach she just had a sparkle and confidence and I thought she was so cool!  I wanted to be like that!  They really encourage you to delve into personal development at Beachbody.  In fact, it's one of the three things you're supposed to do everyday.  Reading for 10 minutes something positive and gives you the tools to better yourself will help you to become the best version of yourself.  This will help you not only in your business, but in your family relationships.  You will be a better wife, mother, sister, daughter, and friend!

3. Accountability for your own health & fitness goals.

Being a coach has really helped me stay on top of my own health and fitness goals.  Knowing that I will be posting about my food or my workout helps me to stay accountable plus all my friends and family know what I'm up to so when I see them I know I have to set a good example!  I get to try all sorts of fitness programs I wouldn't have bothered with in the past and now love!

4. Lots of support & training.

I was surprised on how much on-going training Beachbody and my own coach provides.  Every week Beacbbody puts out motivational and practical tips from top coaches plus they have quarterly and annual online and live gatherings.  I was nervous about running a challenge group on my own, but I found out that my team all works together!  We bounce ideas off of each other, run trainings and challenges together, and have weekly calls.  You are not alone!

5. It's fun!

You have complete control over your business and you can put as much creativity into it as you'd like into your posts and fitness and accountability challenge groups.

6. Change people's lives!

There are a lot of network marketing businesses out there!  You can sell candles, makeup, stickers to put on your nails, jewelry, purses, stamps, books, tupperware, cleaning products, wraps...I've been invited to all sorts of parties!  Selling things doesn't naturally appeal to me and my personality, but helping others improve their quality of life is something I can get behind.  This business is truly about building relationships and helping others (regardless of the obnoxious coaches you may have come across -- they are doing it WRONG!)

7. It's YOUR business.

I love not having a boss.  It's the best of both worlds.  I get the support of a business so I don't have to figure it out on my own, but I can decide what I want to do and how much time I want to spend doing it.  If you don't have a lot of time, you don't have to spend a lot of time.  No one is going to hassle you about it.  If you are a go-getter and really want to make a business of this opportunity, you won't be held back by anyone.  No workplace politics will keep you from that promotion, you get out what you put in.

8. The discount!

Oh did I mention I get a 25% discount on products I buy from Beachbody?  I get to try out all the programs I want and Shakeology is $35 cheaper than it would be otherwise!  Beachbody is always coming out with new innovative products and they are great quality (trust me, I have tried tons of workout videos and I have a good idea of quality programs :))

9. Making extra cash.

I didn't get in to the business for the money, but it sure is nice to have some extra! A lot of coaches have a goal of quitting their jobs and working full time on their coaching business, which is totally possible.

You get 25% commission on everything people buy from your site and after you move up in rank you get bonuses.  The higher you are in rank the more bonuses you get and pretty soon most of your check is bonus money!  Another thing I didn't know about before joining was that if you make a certain number of sales in a month you get a prize from Beachbody as incentive.  The prizes vary each month, but they are always something cool like a shirt, personal development book, games, exercise equipment, bobble heads, blankets, etc.

10. The all-in-one package.

When I was thinking about becoming a coach I had decided that I wasn't going to join up since there were lots of ways to get or stay healthy and I didn't want to tie myself down to just one way.  Then it hit me.  Beachbody has the most convenient package.  I didn't want to spend weeks or months researching all the books at the library to figure out the best nutrition plan and I had no idea where to start at the gym.  The Beachbody challenge pack has everything I need: fitness + nutrition + support + rewards = success.

I can follow a long the program calendar that has been expertly designed to get result with workouts by the top trainers out there, drink the most nutritious shake made from whole foods and nothing artificial, plus they give me a nutritional guide created by nutritionists that lays it all out there for me. I also had support and motivation from my challenge group and coach and I got a free tee shirt after I was done.

Beachbody may not be for everyone, but for people like me who don't have time or energy or desire to figure it all out, they make it super simple and doable.   So why do you think are the advantages of being a Beachbody coach? Let me know in the comments?
